Hooray! ‘Womanizer’ takes the throne of the United World Chart, moving up to #1 this week. This is Britney’s 10th single to go #1 on the United World Chart. Can you say that about your favourite artist? ‘Womanizer’ and ‘Circus’ are both huge in the US right now, receiving massive airplay on CHR/Pop stations all over the US. The december chart freeze, which freezes up the airplay charts from mid-December to mid-January because of year-end countdowns and such, seems to have no effect on the smash airplay hits that are ‘Womanizer’ and ‘Circus’. As ‘Womanizer’ is still getting great updates, it has moved up to #3 on Mediabase and some people say it might even go #1 on Mediabase soon, this means that it will be her first single to go #1 on Mediabase US Pop Airplay charts since ‘Toxic’ in 2004! ‘Circus’ has smashed it way into the Top 40 on Mediabase, getting almost 1000 spins (radio plays) in this last week only!
