Exactly 10 years ago (or decade ago, If you think it sound prettier) the world was well-receiving the person who’d become one of the greatest musicians ever. On October 23rd 1998, Britney’s first single, ‘…Baby One More Time’ was introducing Britney to the world. The single received massive world media exposure because of what was considered to be a polemic music video outfiting Britney in a full Catholic-school regalia, prior to single release. The song written by Max Martin and produced by him along with Remi and Denniz Pop, made a #1 debut on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles, and achieved #1 in other 17 countries, as well as the top 10 in many others. The single also got #1 on The United World Top 40 Singles. The single itself sold 6,6100 million copies worldwide. The album with same title was released later in January 1999 and also hit #1 in most of countries. To promote both album and single, Britney made appearances on TV and Award Show over the U.S. and Europe and also embarked into the ‘…Baby One More Time Tour’ in 1999 and the ‘Crazy 2K Tour’ in early 2000. Ten years have gone since Britney stole our hears in that sweet school girl outfit and we saw her transforming from a teen idol to a world-wide superstar, While the pop icons from the late 90’s and the early 2000’s have gone, Britney still has what it takes to be #1, And as we know, It’s the number she’s most used too… For those who might not know, Above is capture from the ‘…Baby One More Time’ music video UPDATE:Added the ‘…Baby One More Time’ video to BritneyVideos.org – click below to start streaming.
